Catholic Priest Urges Confession for Those Who Watched Ibom Air Viral Video More than Once
A Catholic priest, Reverend Father Emmanuel Ehioma, has called on individuals who watched the viral Ibom Air video more than once to seek confession, saying repeated viewing could amount to sin.
The clip, which showed passenger Comfort Emmanson being forced off an Ibom Air flight, captured an indecent exposure of her chest area. The footage sparked outrage and condemnation over its release, with many criticising the invasion of privacy.
In a Facebook post, Father Ehioma said seeing the video the first time was not sinful, as viewers did not expect the exposure. However, he stressed that rewatching it was morally wrong and likened the act to consuming explicit content.

“The second, third, and other times you went back to watch that video were because of your hunger to see her nude and feel good about it, just the same way you act towards pornography,” he wrote, adding that such actions require confession.
The priest expressed dismay at comments from people who described the exposed body parts of the embattled passenger, calling it “regrettable” and “terrible.” He urged husbands, fathers, wives, and mothers to reflect on their actions and seek forgiveness
