Glo Offers Unbeatable Roaming Packages for Nigerian Pilgrims, Travellers to Saudi Arabia

Leading digital services provider, Globacom, has unveiled a range of highly affordable international roaming packages for Nigerian pilgrims and other travellers heading to Saudi Arabia for this year’s Hajj.

In a statement, the telecommunications giant disclosed that the new packages are tailored to offer customers the best value for voice calls and data usage while abroad, whether they are visiting for pilgrimage, business, or leisure.

“Globacom is providing the best roaming solution where customers can make voice calls and browse using a single bundle,” the company said. “This ensures our subscribers enjoy premium service at the most competitive rates while in Saudi Arabia.”

The operator explained that the roaming plans are designed to be flexible and pocket-friendly, catering to different user needs. The plans include:

  • ₦2,500 bundle: 5 minutes of voice calls + 100MB data (1-day validity)
  • ₦5,000 bundle: 10 minutes of voice calls + 250MB data
  • ₦10,000 bundle: 1GB of data (10-day validity)
  • ₦25,000 bundle: 2.5GB of data (30-day validity)
  • ₦50,000 bundle: 6GB of data (60-day validity)

These packages allow customers to stay connected, share memorable moments, and communicate seamlessly with family and friends back home or around the world.

To activate a bundle, subscribers simply need to dial *312# and select option 8 for Roaming, then follow the on-screen instructions. The bundles can be purchased ahead of departure and will automatically activate upon arrival in Saudi Arabia.

For users who prefer more flexibility, Glo also offers a “pay-as-you-go” option with highly competitive rates:

  • ₦30 per MB for data
  • ₦350 per minute for calls to Nigeria
  • ₦270 per minute for local calls within Saudi Arabia
  • ₦50 per SMS for local text messages

Globacom reaffirmed its commitment to offering top-quality service and affordability, ensuring that Nigerian travellers stay connected throughout their stay in Saudi Arabia.
