SCOAN Gears Up for 2025 Living Water Service
Preparations are in top gear for the 2025 edition of the highly anticipated Living Water Service hosted by The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN). The event is scheduled to be held this Friday, August 8, 2025, at the church’s international headquarters in Ikotun-Egbe, Lagos.
This spiritually charged programme, which has become a landmark event in SCOAN’s annual calendar, is renowned for drawing large numbers of worshippers from across Nigeria and various countries around the globe. The Living Water Service was introduced by the church’s late founder, Prophet T.B. Joshua, as a divine channel of spiritual cleansing, healing, and renewal.

Speaking ahead of the event, SCOAN’s current leader, Pastor Evelyn Joshua, highlighted the spiritual depth of the service. “You have been given an assurance,” she declared, referencing Philippians 4:19: ‘My God will supply all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.’ According to her, participants are encouraged to activate their faith to connect with the anointing of Jesus Christ, who is described as the “well of salvation.”
Pastor Joshua further urged attendees to come with expectant hearts and a joyful spirit. “You are coming to a sacred altar, a place of divine visitation,” she said. “Don’t come with sorrow, bitterness, or unforgiveness. Come with joy!”
The inspiration behind the Living Water Service comes from John 4:14, where Jesus speaks of the “living water” that quenches spiritual thirst and leads to eternal life. Central to the event is the Living Water Fountain, situated on SCOAN’s altar, which is reverently called the “Altar of Prayer” by worshippers.
The service will feature sessions of intense worship, Bible reading, powerful testimonies, and prophetic prayers. Known for miraculous encounters and deep spiritual transformation, the Living Water Service has in previous years attracted pilgrims seeking healing and divine intervention.
With guests already arriving from various parts of the world, the church has intensified preparations, putting logistics, security, and crowd control measures in place. Members of the public planning to attend are advised to arrive early and comply with all protocol instructions.
For those unable to attend physically, the service will be aired live on Emmanuel TV and streamed across SCOAN’s official digital channels.
