The recognition, which attracted resounding applause from guests, was presented in acknowledgement of Udeh’s sustained commitment to supporting students, promoting pharmaceutical excellence, and inspiring young Nigerians through service and professional integrity. The award added public significance to what was otherwise a personal milestone.

Held at Carabana Lounge, Ajao Estate, Lagos, the event brought together management and staff of Geneith Pharmaceuticals, members of the Lagos State University MBA alumni community, NAUS leaders, as well as family, friends, and well-wishers. Many speakers at the gathering praised the celebrant for her compassion, humility, and positive influence within and beyond the healthcare sector.
Presenting the award on behalf of Nigerian university students nationwide, the National President of NAUS, Comrade Josiah Peter Oche, described the honour as a collective expression of appreciation from students who value excellence, service, and mentorship.
According to him, NAUS—representing over 20 million Nigerian university students across federal, state, private, and diaspora institutions—found Pharm. Udeh is worthy of recognition for her contributions to healthcare advancement, pharmaceutical practice, and human capacity development.
The association, represented at the event by its Senate President, Comrade Israel Oguntade, noted that the award was intended not only to celebrate achievement but also to encourage sustained service to society.
“This recognition is a reminder that professionals like Pharm. Judith Udeh are role model whose actions shape the aspirations of students and young people across the country,” the association stated in its citation, adding that her work continues to impact health and wellness at the community level positively.

Earlier in the programme, goodwill messages and testimonials were delivered by colleagues, alumni, former associates, and family members, many of whom spoke about Udeh’s passion for youth advocacy, mentorship, health education, and public enlightenment.
A former President of the Lagos State University MBA Students Association (LASUMBA), Mr Pascal Olisakwe, who worked closely with Udeh during their postgraduate studies, described her as disciplined, goal-oriented, and dependable, noting that her leadership qualities distinguished her among her peers.
In her response, a visibly emotional Udeh expressed gratitude to God and appreciation to NAUS for what she described as an unexpected but deeply meaningful honour.

“I came out today simply to celebrate life, but receiving this recognition from students on my birthday is truly special,” she said. “It renews my commitment to continue investing in young people through mentorship, advocacy, and health education.”
She reaffirmed her dedication to youth empowerment and public health awareness, stressing that empowering young Nigerians remains critical to sustainable national development.
The celebration concluded with the formal presentation of the award, cutting of the birthday cake, group photographs, and a lively dance session that brought the colourful evening to a memorable close.
